What the Fault Means

Software overcurrent

Likely causes

• Output grounding
• Inter-phase short-circuit
• No parameter auto-tuning in vector control mode
• Encoder interference or wire breakage
• Output phase loss
• Current detection exception
• V/f control acceleration/deceleration time too short
• Encoder phase sequence error
• Model setting error

Solution and Safe First Checks

1. Check for output short-to-ground
2. Check output side for short circuit
3. Set motor parameters correctly and perform auto-tuning
4. Check encoder cable connection and grounding
5. Check cables are properly connected
6. Contact after-sales service
7. Enable overcurrent suppression; increase acceleration/deceleration time
8. Change encoder direction if opposite
9. Set AC drive model correctly
