What the Fault Means

Fault: SI P2: Write request for parameter rejected

Likely causes

• The write request for one or several Safety Integrated parameters on processor 2 was rejected
• Note: This fault does not result in a safety stop response
• Fault value (r0949, interpret decimal): 10: An attempt was made to enable the STO function although this cannot be supported
• 15: An attempt was made to enable the motion monitoring functions integrated in the drive although these cannot be supported

Solution and Safe First Checks

1. check whether there are faults in the safety function alignment (F01655, F30655) and if required, carry out
2. use a Control Unit that supports the required function.
3. use the power unit with the feature "STO via terminals at the Power Module".

Safety: do not work inside the panel without isolating the power; if unsure, consult a qualified technician.
